A long-standing love for movement and physical activity eventually led me down the path of exercise science. Over the next ten years, I used exercise as a tool for disease prevention and health promotion, working across a wide range of communities. More recently, I found myself pursuing a future in exercise health technology… and then, Aloe & Wax came into being.

Although formulation has been part of my life for many years, I never imagined sharing these creations beyond my own circles. I’m a Christian, and while that may not be a significant detail for many of the people we’ll have the privilege of serving, it’s an important part of my story. Aloe & Wax exists because of two things: a deep conviction that this was something I was being called to do, and a desire to walk in humble obedience—even when the path forward isn’t fully clear.

Creating from a place of obedience has meant letting go of the need to plan every detail or control every outcome. That can be incredibly nerve-wracking, but it also offers a rare kind of freedom—the freedom to be present, to learn as we go, and to grow alongside this brand and the community forming around it. I don’t have a clear five- or ten-year plan for Aloe & Wax, and I don’t carry a checklist of milestones we must reach. Instead, I hold onto a simple hope that guides everything we do.

My hope is that those who encounter Aloe & Wax will prosper in all things—experiencing the kind of wellbeing that supports a healthy body and an even healthier soul.
